I've wore underwires for 25 years and this was THE most uncomfortable. Only 2 hours after putting it on I had to get out the scissors and cut out the underwires! Good Grief! It's OK now, but there isn't enough fabric between the cups and the rib band to stop the bottom from rolling up that the underwires structurally prevented. It only gets a two because of the microfiber sides and back which does create the smoothest silhouette of any bra I've owned. If you're a 36C or larger, I would definately forgo this bra! Try instead Calvin Klein's Perfectly Fit Underwire Bras with unlined cups but lots of support and a terrific smoothness under clothes.
And on one last sour note, if you do buy this bra, be prepared to pay fully half ($7) of the bra cost ($15) for shipping and "handling," which apparently consists of someone slipping a plastic-bagged bra into an unpadded Milar envelope that costs just over a dollar to mail!
