My problem stems from the lace cup design: 1) the lace covering shows through oxford shirts, turtle necks sweaters, and a variety of blouses; and 2) the lace doesn't lay flat and tends to pucker -- which presents a second kind of ugly "show through" problem. This would be my only bra IF it can in a single-ply smooth (no lace) cup.

I love these bras. My only mistake was buying them when I was ~36 weeks pregnant with my first. I was straddling 4 sizes (M, M+, L, and L+) and we decided to stick with the smallest because it really fit the best. Bad idea! After an exhaustive search, I have concluded that this is the best nursing bra out there for me. It fits all of my requirements: it is sexy, supportive, has no underwire, comes in black, and isn't terribly expensive. The only problem? I was a 32DD before I got pregnant and 4 months after giving birth, I am a 34G. It doesn't come in my size! Elle, if you're reading this, PLEASE consider manufacturing a G cup for those of us with small bands and large busts! For the record, here is my feedback on some similar items. Keep in mind this might not apply to smaller cup sizes:

-Melinda G Glorious Contour: Sexy, cute, pretty supportive, but get the right cup size or your boobs will "marshmallow" over the deeply plunging cups.
-Bravado Sugar & Spice Micorfiber: Really pretty, but totally unsupportive
-Bravado Exquisite: Looks nothing like the photos, hideous colors! Support was pretty good, though.
-Freya Rosalie: A little bit school-marmy for my taste, and flimsy material might not last
-Anita softcup 5062: Fairly supportive but not incredibly sexy; don't wear every day or it will stretch.
-Gilligan & O'Malley Nursing Sleep Bra: I got this in 38D just for sleeping and it is unsupportive but better than nothing

The lace at the top of the bra wasn't itchy like I had read about on other sites, it smoothed me out everywhere without creating bulges where the bra ended, and I felt like it was of really good construction. I work 10 hour days, and this is my preferred wear-to-work bra. Very comfortable and very supportive. I find my workplace too warm, and almost always wear a sleeveless shell or mockneck, and the racerback styling of this bra complements sleeveless fashions nicely (no straps showing). With standard bras the straps are always slipping off my shoulders unless I tighten them to the point where they cause discomfort. Again, racerback = no slippage.

My husband really really likes the front hook styling. ;)

I'll pass along the note from reviews on other vendors' sites - others have observed inconsistent sizing between colors. It was something like white ones are big in the band, black ones are smallish in the cup. I only buy black, so I can't really compare. Just passing info/gossip. :)

Do note that the straps are stretchy. I've never been a fan of stretch straps on full-figure bras, and that's my only complaint about this bra.

Moving Comfort Maia Full Figure Underwire Sports Bra

This is a wonderfully supportive, completely functional sports bra. It is perfect at wicking moisture and keeping you cool. The bluish-periwinkle color is a really great break from the usual white/black/nude options generally offered in larger cup sizes. I ran a marathon in this bra a couple of years ago, did most of my training in it, and it is still in great shape today due to the quality fabric and construction. I only wish I could have run the marathon in a bra in my own size. I am a 32G but I had to settle for a 34DD or 36D in this bra. I so wish that Moving Comfort would expand the offered sizes to full figured sizes rather than just plus sizes, because this is truly a well-made bra very well suited to high-impact sports. I did not have any injuries from the ill-fitting underwire because it is so well encased, but I can only imagine how much more comfortable my own size would have been. I do high impact sports like rugby and soccer, and am mostly pleased with this product. No other sports bra supports me quite as effectively. With such a high level of support, it is really nice to have the zipper for when I need to take a breather. Being able to unzip some of the compression allows me literally to breathe easier. Fantastic support for when you'd otherwise be flopping around, fantastic breathing room for halftime.

My only complaint is the horizontal seams on the straps dig into my collar bones. A significant portion of the weight seems to rest at the clavicle, making the inconveniently placed seams rather painful after about a half hour of use.

I would really like to see the Endure Mark II - a sports bra that would deliver the same high level of support, the same zipper open, and seamless straps. Or have that seam placed either about 2 inches lower or at least an inch higher.

If you have large breasts and do lots of jumping about, I recommend that the pain in the collar bone is an acceptable inconvenience when compared to the support you receive, especially when the zipper and cooling design features are factored in. While frustrating, it is better than the pain in my chest when my breasts are not adequately supported.
